Elizabeth Handley LMHC

Elizabeth Handley, LMHC, DCMHS is a licensed mental health counselor and nationally recognized clinician with over 16 years of clinical experience providing counseling and psychotherapy for adults in Ashland, Massachusetts and throughout the MetroWest region.

Elizabeth holds licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in both Massachusetts (LMHC #7154) and New Hampshire (LMHC #2441), and has been recognized by the American Mental Health Counselors Association with a Diplomate designation a credential earned by a select number of clinicians who have demonstrated the highest levels of specialized training and clinical expertise. She served as President of the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association from 2017 to 2019.

Her practice addresses a broad range of adult concerns including anxiety, depression, post-partum depression, trauma, stress and burnout, anger management, life transitions, parenting challenges, and family conflict. Elizabeths approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and tailored to each individual client.

In-person sessions are available at 217 West Union Street, Ashland, MA 01721, Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Telehealth appointments are available via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to clients throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Insurance accepted: Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts Health Plan. Private pay and FSA/HSA cards accepted. New adult clients currently being accepted.
