Harvest & Herd exists because we identified a formulation gap in the natural skincare market. After testing numerous tallow-based products that failed to deliver on their fundamental promise: effective nutrition without compromising daily experience. We decided to solve the problem ourselves.

The challenge was clear: tallow offers unmatched biocompatible nutrition, but most products sacrifice texture, scent, or absorption to achieve it. We refused to accept these trade-offs. 

Our development process involved extensive ingredient sourcing, precise ratio testing, and rigorous quality standards for every component. Each formulation iteration focused on one goal: preserve tallow's nutritional benefits while creating a product that belongs in modern skincare routines.

The result is what tallow balm should have been from the beginning—complete nutrition that performs exactly as expected, every time. Naturally perfect.

Our products are manufactured in California using 100% solar power, then distributed from our solar-powered, climate-controlled Illinois facility. This isn't environmental marketing, it's operational efficiency that supports consistent quality control and optimal shipping times across the United States.
