After graduating from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1965, Puck began his career in teaching and coaching. In 1966, he was called into the Army. Adaptable as he was, he volunteered for the Infantry Officer Candidate School and served in Vietnam.
His memoir, “Last Light with the Boys,†moves the reader through experiences that shaped his path as a soldier and a coach, leading men in the face of danger and enduring unimaginable hardship. Puck wishes to continue his writing journey and enlighten readers with more gripping Vietnam War stories.
