My name is Karen and I started Quince in 2016, but really my journey started much longer ago; in fact I realise that almost everything in my past has brought me to this point. I studied art history and fell in love with the portraits that so often feature magnificent jewels that tell the history and the status of the sitter. The iconography of jewellery and stones is a fascinating story. Years later I created an exhibition on the History of the Engagement
