Located in the heart of the Melrose shopping district lies the perfect neighborhood bar where the prices are right, the food is superb, the beer is cold, the breeze is blowing, the jukebox is playing, the TV's are on and the drinks are full. We call it the Snakepit Alehouse. We are one of the oldest bars in West Hollywood and Melrose's (un)official neighborhood bar since 1991. We made it through the LA Riots, Northridge Earthquake and a fire that took us down in 2012 only to re-open as an OFFICIAL WHISKEY BAR with over 100 varieties while maintaining all of our original charm from the years before. Voted best non-sports bar by LA Weekly! Come by for happy hour, comfort food, lunch, dinner or late-night nightlife!
