The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Christ the King in Pawling, NY is a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). We are located in the charming village of Pawling, New York since 1962. We are a Christian congregation in the Lutheran tradition, which means that our faith and life are founded upon the inspired Holy Scriptures as they are interpreted in the 1580 Book of Concord. The members of our congregation come from a variety of religious backgrounds, with about half being lifelong Lutherans from various denominations, and the other half coming from such varied backgrounds as Roman Catholicism, Anglicanism, Evangelicalism, and many more.
