PALS came under new ownership in 2011 owner/director Jessica Driemeyer. PALS cares for children 6 weeks of age to 12 years. Researchers has shown that children learn best through play. The foundation and socialization skills and healthy self-concepts is developed through play. The program at PALS will: *Encourage creativity and self-expression for language and social/emotional development. *Develop academic concepts and skills. *Encourage gross and fine motor activities. *Nurture self-confidence and social skills to aide emotional growth and well-being *Develop habits of cleanliness and learn basic principles of health and safety *All learning shall be provided in a rich environment that the children can learn physically, socially, emotionally, and academically. Reasonable modifications shall be provided for children to accommodate, practices and procedures with a disability.
